The fifth studio album by German heavy metal band Accept. It is Accept's only record to attain Gold certification in the US. I recommend.

This is the fifth studio album by the legendary heavy metal band, released in 1983. Udo's voice and the playing of the guitarists are just on top. Listen and enjoy.

The album itself is an 80's hard rock/heavy metal classic and one of Accepts best albums. Some of music has a slightly more commercial sound than previous album Restless and Wild (which for me was there musical peak) although the production is clear, crisp and heavy (at least on the remastered version).

n my opinion, the best ACCEPT albums in their history are four albums that have been successive since 1981, that is, “Breaker” (81), “Restless And Wild” (82), “Balls To The Wall” ( 84) and “Metal Heart” (85). On the one hand, these four albums are very similar to each other in style and manner of play, but on the other, they are very different in sound and general mood. This circumstance in itself does ACCEPT honor. If the 82 year old album was surprisingly tough and difficult for its time, then the “Balls To The Wall” that followed it is characterized by very calm rhythms, less harsh sounding of guitars, melody and a kind of melancholy, sad, general mood. All things are easily perceived and remembered. Great guitar solos, especially at the beginning of the second side. Udo's original vocals (albeit not the coolest in HMR) and his singing style make the band’s music completely inimitable. Perhaps for a modern listener the album will seem a little rustic, but do not forget that everything ingenious is simple!

The original 1983 album from German heavy metal band Accept, reissued in 2002 by RCA. It contains the original album remastered by Stefan Kaufman and two live bonus tracks.

Accept at the apex of their creativity. One of the strongest metal albums from the 80s.
