Alexander S. - 25/Sep/2019 Like any high-class band in any genre, DT have reached the point where they cannot release bad albums by definition. In any case, some (usually long enough) time. True, in fairness it should be noted that the discography of Dark Tranqullity is completely unsullied by hackwork and mediocrity. Just individual albums were too good.
"We Are the Void" is a very good example of moving forward after the supernatural "Fiction". The depth of the latest release is multiplied by the straightforward, but skillful power and heaviness of "Haven" and "Damage Done", as well as branded flirting of the Swedes with not entirely metalic directions in music. But it is for these chips that I appreciate them. "Her Silent Language" brings back fond memories of "Projector", and a flurry of fire in "The Grandest Accusation" or "I Am the Void" turns the album into the standard of an uncut death metal. As usual, it is impossible to find fault with sound quality in principle. As for the design.
Another excellent release from the best (such are my addictions) death band of the Gothenburg spill. Not superior in quality to "Projector" or "Fiction", but not inferior to any other album from their discography. Categorical recommendation for the acquisition.

Marco M. - 30/Mar/2017 Indeed, Fatalist and Her Silent Language are GREAT song, but this album, compared to Others like fiction or Construct,, is an uncertain step, much less inspired with songs once again perfectly built, but composed without the usual DT pathos. As huge fan of this band, I am used to be impressed and hit straight to my soul from their songs, not this time. If we exclude the previous reported songs, I can say I reached the entire album with mind, but not with my heart.
